The Mino has many features that the Flip Video does not have. The Mino is almost 2 ounces lighter than the Flip and the arm with the USB plug on it has changed positions. All the functions you need to operate the camcorder are clearly marked and easy to understand.

This is the answer. Very nice point and shoot HD camera. There is more noticeable jitter with the HD - makes sense since the resolution is higher.

I bought it for my 8yr old. In addition, even though the camera lens is fixed fllp, there is the option of 2x digital zoom for when you need to get just a little bit closer. I love the fact that it charges via USB port.

Have you ever gotten great video but garbled sound because of too much bass, crowd noise, etc.? With its built-in USB arm you can directly connect this HD camcorder to your Windows or Mac computers and share and edit videos easily.

When you're ready to edit and upload your footage simply flip out the USB arm and connect it to your computer. Most thing you are taking a still until you tell them to move and talk!
